Update: Break-in at Rathburn Rd. / Martin Grove Rd.

We just received this additional information on the Rathburn Rd. / Martin Grove Rd. break-in:
“The house was armed and they triggered the alarm. Although the footage is scary, as they spend about 20 minutes surveying the outside, peeking in all the windows, and ringing the doorbell, checking the mailbox, etc. It seems they have someone in the car, keeping a look out, and communicate on the phone, as they are on cellphones the whole time.”
The homeowner is interested in sharing her tapes with other homeowners who have footage of their own of thieves attacking their property. Please email us and we will arrange a meeting time. If you are interested in just seeing the footage for your own protection you are also welcome to attend. We have emailed her the footage of the potential car theft at a Thorncrest Village home. If you would like to speak with her directly please let us know.

If you have seen or heard anything suspicious, please contact the Police.
If you see a crime in progress, please call 9-1-1 immediately.

Here is another recent example from a neighbour at Rathburn Rd. and Martin Grove Rd.:
“We had a similar break-in on Wednesday at 2 am. The description sounds like the same fellow. They had a white vehicle and parked right in front of the house. They were carrying tools/weapons to whack with. They smashed the bay window and came right in.”
