Update: Homicide at Dundas St. West / Mabelle Ave.

Please note, the following is an update regarding the homicide reported by the Toronto Police Service over the weekend:
“On Thursday, September 11, 2014, at approximately 8:30 pm, police responded to the Dundas Street West and Mabelle Avenue area for a fight involving a group of men.

On Monday, September 15, 2014, both men wanted in this incident surrendered to officers at 23 Division.”

Both men have since appeared in court for a bail hearing, have each been charged with second-degree murder and assault causing bodily harm, and have been remanded into custody.

If you have seen or heard anything suspicious, please contact the Police.
If you see a crime in progress, please call 9-1-1 immediately.

Please note, the following homicide was just reported by the Toronto Police Service on Saturday:
“On Thursday, September 11, 2014, at approximately 8:30 pm, police responded to the Dundas Street West and Mabelle Avenue area for fight involving a group of men. Once on scene, police located two men with obvious signs of injury. They were both taken to hospital. One of the men succumbed to his injuries at hospital. He has been identified as Richard Pepper, 60, of Toronto.”

The Police have since released photos and descriptions of the following suspects, wanted for second-degree murder:
Suspect #1: Jamal Abdinasir Hassan, 22, of Toronto, is wanted for Second-Degree Murder. He is described as black, 5'9", and 250 lbs., with brown eyes.

Suspect #2: Gonffa Krow, 20, of Toronto, is wanted for Second-Degree Murder. He is described as black, 5'7", and weighs 143 lbs.
