CPLC Town Hall Meeting: November 19 at 7:00pm

The next Town Hall Meeting organized by the Community Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) and the Toronto Police Service (22 Division) will take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm at Humber College (Lakeshore Campus).

The purpose of these meetings is to establish and maintain a meaningful Community-Police partnership; to work together in identifying, prioritizing and problem solving local policing issues, to be proactive in community relations, crime prevention and communication of initiatives, and to serve as a resource to the Police and the Community.

Everyone is invited to attend.


When: Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm

Agenda:
  • Opening remarks from Chief Blair, S/Superintendent Tom Russell, Superintendent Shaun Narine, and CPLC Vice Co-Chair Carolyn Hogg
  • Presentation from Major Crimes Unit on break-and enters, holiday theft, and street robbery prevention
  • An update from Rose Buhagiar, Director of the Toronto South Detention Centre
  • Questions & Answers


Parking is free in Humber Parking Lot A after 4:00pm. Community and local business tables will be available for additional information. Light refreshments will be provided.
