Search Warrant Executed near Royal York Rd. / Dundas St. West, Weapons Seized, Man and Woman Arrested on 34 Charges

Please note, the Toronto Police Service have recently executed a search warrant in the Royal York Rd. and Dundas St. West area. Several weapons were seized with ammunition. A man and woman were both arrested and face 34 criminal charges:
On Tuesday, October 27, 2015, members of the 12 Division Community Response Unit executed a CDSA search warrant in the Royal York Road and Dundas Street West area.

It is alleged that the following firearms and ammunition were seized:
  1. WARTAK semi-automatic rifle with a folding stock
  2. a magazine with 10-.762mm ammunition (banana clip design)
  3. Mossberg rifle with an altered stock
  4. Webley .445 calibre revolver
  5. rifle scope

Lisa Toste, 31, of Toronto, was arrested. She has been charged with:
  1. three counts of Unauthorized possession of a prohibited/restricted firearm
  2. three counts of Possession of a prohibited firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized
  3. Possession of a prohibited weapon with ammunition
  4. Possession of prohibited device - (magazine with 10 rounds of ammunition)
  5. Careless storage of ammunition
  6. three counts of Careless storage of a firearm
  7. two counts of Tampering of serial number

Terrence Lloyd, 30, of Toronto, was arrested. He has been charged with:
  1. three counts of Unauthorized possession of a prohibited/restricted firearm
  2. three counts of Possession of a prohibited firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized
  3. Possession of a prohibited weapon with ammunition
  4. Possession of prohibited device - (magazine with 10 rounds of ammunition)
  5. Careless storage of ammunition
  6. three counts of Careless storage of a firearm
  7. two counts of Tampering of serial number
  8. three counts of Possession contrary to order
  9. Fail to comply with Undertaking
