Rising Number of Break-and-Enter Incidents

Please note, we have seen a sharp increase in the number or Break-and-Enter incidents in the past week. This often happens when the weather is warmer and more people spend time outside.

Please take extra care when working or entertaining outside your home to ensure that all your doors and windows are locked and/or secured. There is often a rise in the number of break-ins at this time of year, as criminals might be looking for an easy way into your home.

For more information on minimizing the risk of your home being broken into, please refer to the Toronto Police website on Crime Prevention and Community Safety (Home Security).
