Vandalism on Thorncrest Rd.

Please be aware of this recent crime and the continued presence of vandals in our neighbourhood. This report comes from one of our neighbours living on Thorncrest Road:
“I wanted to let you know that our home was ‘egged’ again on Feb. 14th.

Then last night our daughter was driving home on Thorncrest Rd. and called us at home to tell us that a bunch of kids with eggs were outside our home and to go out and see. I did… and yes, there was a group of them, and I could see the eggs in their hands. They paused, then kept walking, talking among themselves. My daughter continued to drive around the neighourhood a bit to watch them, and they ended up sitting in the park on Thorncrest Rd. She came home and called the police, who sent out a cruiser to check out the neighbourhood. She said they had egged a truck parked on Thorncrest Rd.”
This homeowner had their home egged previously and incurred a great expense to have it removed from the stone fa├žade of their home. Now they will have to do it again. Should you see anything like this in the future please call the police.

If you have seen this group of kids hanging around or know more about this egging activity please let us know.

If you have seen or heard anything suspicious, please contact the Police.
If you see a crime in progress, please call 9-1-1 immediately.
