Car Rummaging near Humbertown

This report comes from one of our Humber Valley Village residents:
“Attention once again – Reminder to lock your car doors. I forgot last night to lock our old beater car, they rummaged through the glove box… got nothing. This sort of thing happens almost nightly starting now… I guess they are walking through to the mall. I will start leaving my front living room light on so it’s brighter where the cars are parked. I reported it to 22 Division, even though I did not lose anything. I spoke with an officer there this week regarding the Audi and he says:
  • It’s important to report every incident, even if they do not get anything valuable
  • If they get enough reports in a certain area, they can justify putting more police staff in certain places at certain times”
If you have seen or heard anything suspicious, please contact the Police.
If you see a crime in progress, please call 9-1-1 immediately.
