Car Jacking near Highway 427 / The Queensway

This report comes to us from local media outlets:
“Police are investigating what they call a “strange” abduction that occurred in Toronto late last night.

South Simcoe Police say they received a call about a car jacking just after 11:00 pm from a man at a gas station in Bradford West Gwillimbury.

The man says he had been at a Canadian Tire parking lot (in the area of Highway 427 and Queensway) in Toronto, when he was approached by two male suspects.

Police say the suspects then forced their way into the man’s vehicle, kept him in the back seat and drove north for several hours.

They finally came to a stop (at the area of 5 Sideroad and 8th Line) in Bradford West Gwillimbury, and the man was allegedly thrown out of the vehicle into a ditch.

Authorities say the man then ran from the vehicle and called his family, who contacted police. Officers then found the man’s vehicle near where he was dropped off.

Police say the man was not robbed or beaten during the incident.

Police are looking for the suspects, who are described as men in their mid-20s. Anyone with information is asked to contact Toronto Police or South Simcoe Police.”
