Special Needs Assistant charged with Sexual Assault, Police believe there may be more victims

Police have arrested and charged a Special Needs Assistant in connection with a sexual assault investigation into allegations that occurred between 2010-2011:
On Wednesday, October 29, 2014, investigators from 22 Division arrested a Special Needs Assistant in connection with a Sexual Assault investigation into allegations occurring between October 2010 and December 2011.

It is alleged that:
  • the man worked with children at Martingrove Collegiate Institute
  • he worked with children with special needs
  • he sexually assaulted a girl, 13, on numerous occasions

Richard Ford, 43, of Toronto, has been charged with:
  1. two counts of Sexual Assault
  2. two counts of Sexual Interference
  3. two counts of Invitation to Sexual Touching
  4. two counts of Sexual Exploitation
Police believe there may be more victims.
