Public Safety Alert: Nighttime Break-and-Enters

Please note, the Toronto Police Service are requesting the public’s assistance following a recent series of nighttime Break-and-Enter incidents:
The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of recent nighttime Break-and-Enters.

It is reported that:
  • on Saturday, June 13, 2015, between the hours of 12 am and 6 am, in the area of Royal York Road and Dundas Street West, a man entered two residences
  • on one occasion he was confronted by a home owner within the residence before he fled

The man is described as black, approximately 6', and wearing a dark shirt.

Police are asking the public to contact police immediately if they see anything in a residential area that appears to be suspicious.

Police are also asking residents to ensure they secure their home, even while they are out for short periods of time.
