Arrest in Sexual Assault Investigation, Police believe there may be other victims

Please note, the Toronto Police Service are requesting the public’s assistance following a recent arrest in a Sexual Assault investigation:
The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a Sexual Assault investigation.

It is alleged that:
  • from February 2014 to April 2015, a 41-year-old woman befriended a man
  • the man falsely identified himself as a building superintendent from the Dundas Street West and Bloor Street West area
  • the man attended the woman’s home multiple times
  • on Friday, April 10, 2015, the man attended the woman’s home and sexually assaulted her

On Monday, July 13, 2015, Abraham Smith, 27, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with Sexual Assault.

Police believe there may be other victims.
