Man Arrested in Break-and-Enter Investigation near Eglinton Ave. West / Martin Grove Rd.

Please note, the Toronto Police Service have arrested a man following a Break-and-Enter investigation in the Eglinton Avenue West and Martin Grove Road area:
The Toronto Police Service has arrested a man in a Break-and-Enter investigation.

It is alleged that:
  • on Sunday, July 12, 2015, at approximately 3:15 am, a man broke into a residence in the Eglinton Avenue West and Martin Grove Road area
  • a 56-year-old woman was asleep and was awakened
  • the woman confronted the man
  • the man concealed his face with a balaclava and pointed a firearm at the woman
  • the woman fled from her home and contacted police

On Sunday, July 12, 2015, Daniel Zajaczkowski, 38, of Toronto, was arrested. He has been charged with:
  1. Break-and-enter commit
  2. Armed robbery
  3. Point firearm
  4. Possession of imitation weapon
  5. Disguise with intent
  6. Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
