The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance identifying a man wanted in a Sexual Assault investigation.If you have seen or heard anything suspicious, please contact the Police.
It is reported that:
- on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at approximately 7:45 pm, a 27-year-old woman was walking through King’s Mill Park located in the area of Bloor Street West and Royal York Road
- a man approached the woman from behind and forced her to the ground
- the man intimidated the woman with a knife
- the man sexually assaulted her
- the man fled on foot
Description of Suspect: The man is described as having a black complexion, approximately 5'9" to 5'10" with a skinny build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and a blue bandana covering his face.
A Sexual Assault is any form of unwanted sexual contact. It includes, but is not limited to, kissing, grabbing, oral sex and penetration. To learn more about sexual assault, including how to report a sexual assault, please visit the Sex Crimes website.
