Walk the Beat (Kingsway) on Wednesday, June 1, 2016

22 Division invites you to “Walk the Beat” with your local community officers to discuss neighbourhood safety and other issues affecting our area.

What is “Walk the Beat”?
A program where the local community meets with the Community Response Officer from 22 Division to walk through their neighbourhoods and talk about different issues the area is experiencing.

Why is this program important?
This is an excellent opportunity for the community to voice their concerns, and for the officers to tackle these issues from its “grass roots”. This inherited knowledge from the local residents to the Police is invaluable and allows the officers to address concerns in a timely manner.

“Walk the Beat (Kingsway)” will meet at Bloor St. West and Brentwood Ave. North from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 1, 2016.
