Thorncest Village Home Security Seminar on Tuesday June 21, 2016

The Toronto Police Service will be hosting a Home Security Seminar in Thorncrest Village on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 7:30 pm.

Officers from the 22 Division Community Response Unit will be presenting valuable information on Home Security. They will show you what you can do (both high and low tech) to ensure that you minimize your risk of becoming the victim of a break-and-enter.

Topics include:
  • Securing your home for daily living
  • Securing your home before you travel
  • Using common sense to create a secure home
  • Tips on securing your home, Do's and Dont's
  • How to prevent becoming a victim of a Break-and-Enter
  • CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design)
  • Alarm systems, motion sensor lights and various security solutions and demonstrations
  • 22 Division crome prevention programs, social media, Twitter, Facebook
  • Crime statistics relevant to 22 Division residents, crime trends and the year in review

The seminar will be held at the Thorncrest Village Club House at 35 Thorncrest Road, at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, June 21, 2016.
