Rising Number of Break-and-Enter Incidents

Please be aware that Police officers at 22 Division are reporting an increased number of Break-and-Enter incidents in the Central and South Etobicoke.
The Toronto Police Service would like to remind the public to remain vigilant and to lock their doors and windows at night.

In recent weeks, there has been a noticeable increase in residential Break-and-Enters in the Central and South Etobicoke area.

It is reported that:
  • an unknown person or persons has gained entry into multiple residential homes through unlocked doors and windows

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Police at 416-808-2200, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416−222−TIPS (8477), online at, or text TOR and your message to CRIMES (274637).
