Rising Number of Street Robberies

Please note, we have seen an increase in the number of street robberies, assaults and thefts from cars reported in Central Etobicoke during the past week — especially the areas surrounding Martingrove Collegiate Institute, Warrender Park, and Lloyd Manor Park — or between Kipling Ave. and Martin Grove Rd. (to the east and west), and Eglinton Ave. and Princess Margaret Blvd. (to the north and south).

These types of robberies have often occurred in the evening, late at night or early in the morning. Please remember to be aware of your surroundings at all times, especially when listening to music while walking or checking your cell phone on the street.
