Increased Number of Car Thefts and Break-ins

Please note, we have seen a sudden rise in the number of vehicle thefts and break-ins in our area, especially in The Kingsway neighbourhoods. Police have reported 4 vehicles thefts and 1 break-in during the week of August 21-27, 2017 around the Prince Edward Dr. North / Bloor St. West area.

Historically, car thieves in our area have been known to target popular models such as Honda or Toyota SUVs or Crossovers. Please make sure your vehicles are locked at all times and if possible, please keep them out of sight from potential thieves wandering our neighbourhoods.

If you have been the victim of a vehicle theft, please report it to the Police immediately.
