Ring (Smart Video Doorbell) comes to Etobicoke

Dear Neighbours,

Let me take this time to tell you about a new product called “Ring”. Ring is a smart video doorbell that can easily be installed at the front door of your home. For homeowners who do not have an existing alarm system, security cameras, or the ability to see who is at their door before they open it, this can be a great way to help protect your home.

Ring comes equipped with a video camera, motion sensor and 2-way intercom. It works with your smart phone (internet or wi-fi) to send you notifications when someone is at your door. Even if you’re not home, you can still answer your door. Even if the visitor doesn’t ring your doorbell, their presence will still be detected by the built-in motion sensor. In most break-and-enter incidents, thieves will knock on your front door first before trying to break into your home.
