Suspicious Activity on Rathburn Rd.

Please note, we have received some reports about someone testing for unlocked side doors along Rathburn Rd. between Kipling Ave. and Islington Ave. in Thorncrest Village on Thursday, May 31, 2018.
“I believe that someone tried to break into my house today while I was home around 1:45 pm. They jiggled my side door handle to see if it was unlocked. Luckily it was locked. Same thing happened to my next door neighbor. They also tried his side door.”

Please take extra care when working or entertaining outside your home to ensure that all your doors and windows are locked and/or secured. There is often a rise in the number of break-ins at this time of year, as criminals might be looking for an easy way into your home.
