Attempted Child Abduction near Park Lawn Rd. / Berry Rd.

Please note, the Toronto Police are investigating an attempted child abduction near the Park Lawn Rd. / Berry Rd. area in Stonegate - Queensway on Friday, January 25 at approximately 3:00 pm. Please see the news report below:
Toronto police are investigating after an attempted child abduction in Etobicoke on Friday.

Officers were called to the scene in the Park Lawn Road and Berry Road area just after 3:00 pm.

It was reported that a group of children aged 10 to 11 were walking down the street when they were approached from behind by a man.

He allegedly grabbed one of the children and tried to pull them away.

When the group of kids began screaming, he let go and they were able to run away.

The suspect is described as white, 50 years old, six feet tall with a medium to heavy build. He has short white hair, was unshaven and had a prominent nose.

He was wearing a khaki or light green bomber-style jacket, a grey or black winter hat, and black sunglasses.
